Attorney Travis S. Young (TSY) attended the University of Colorado School of Law at Boulder, and received his J.D. in May 2003. Mr. Young obtained his license to practice law in Colorado in October 2003. He worked as Deputy District Attorney in the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office from February 2004 to January 2007. After leaving the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Young was a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Financial Fraud Unit in the Criminal Justice Section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. As a Senior Assistant Attorney General, Mr. Young was responsible for prosecuting cases involving insurance fraud, mortgage fraud, organized crime, worker’s compensation fraud, thefts involving licensed insurance producers and thefts involving licensed bondsmen. He also prosecuted cases involving securities fraud. Mr. Young was an Senior Assistant Attorney General until June 2012, when he began working as an associate at Overturf McGath Hull & Doherty, P.C. , which is a small firm that primarily practices in the areas of insurance defense. Mr. Young began working as an associate at Franklin D. Azar & Associates, P.C. in January 2013 and is responsible for representing clients in personal injury claims and lawsuits.
