Originally from northern Michigan, Kim served in the U.S. Navy for six years. With the Navy, he was stationed in Hawaii and served as a cryptologic linguist.

After finishing military service, he completed his undergraduate degree with Excelsior college. Kim earned his bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a focus in political science. In law school, he was a member of the UNLV Law Journal and worked as a law clerk for a notable personal injury firm in Las Vegas.

After graduating law school, Kim worked with one of the most respected workers’ compensation firms in Nevada. There, he represented injured workers to ensure they received the medical treatment and benefits they needed.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys hiking, music, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu; but his favorite thing to do is spend time with his fiancé.
