Robert O. Fischel was born in San Antonio, TX in 1961. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Texas in San Antonio where he earned his B.S. in Biology in 1985. Robert attended St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio and received his J.D. in May 1990. Robert obtained his license to practice law in Texas in June 1990. He is also licensed to practice in the federal district courts in the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
He began his law career working with a small firm in Irving, TX where he practiced primarily in the areas of insurance defense and personal injury litigation. From April 1994 until moving to Denver in November 2001, Robert operated his own law office in Fort Worth, TX where he practiced primarily in the areas of personal injury and domestic relations law. In May 1998 and again in May 2000, Robert was elected to the position of Municipal Judge for the City of Watauga, TX where he served until November 2001.
